Since one of the most important obstacles to women's participation in the workforce is prejudice in the recruitment process, pladis is implementing the Digital Recruitment application for all newly opened positions in the UK, in order to consider gender diversity. In this context, pladis' application, with the help of a software called Textio, ensures that the positions opened are not gender-specific and that the gender of the applicants does not create a priority. Thus, pladis ensured that the number of women recruited within the institution in the region increased by taking care not to include any wording with reference to gender roles in any job postings.
