pladis created the employee support group BeingShe: Seeing Her Evolve in the UK in 2021. Open to 4,500 employees from the UK and Ireland, the group offers empowering individuals regardless of gender and a safe space to talk, be inspired, network and evaluate. In addition, the network organizes events to raise awareness on a number of important issues such as breast cancer awareness, menopause, infant loss and International Women's Day. BeingShe continues to expand its network and activities in 2022, reaching approximately 121 members at eight sites in the region. Members are included in a four-module training program to build self-confidence and support employee empowerment.
