We are delighted to receive the Corporate Social Responsibility Bronze Award at the Global Stevie Awards For Women In Business for the 'Women Stars of Agriculture' project, which we implemented with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and in partnership with UN Women!
In the project, which aimed to increase the proportion of women farmers supported by 100% in 3 years, we reached the target of 30 women farmers in 1 year. Our number of women farmers increased from 15 in 2022 to 37 in 2023, an increase of +146%. Especially after the 6 February earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, we reached new women farmers by prioritising our earthquake affected regions and we will continue to develop the project with this focus.
